Hey there, Little Sprouts!

It's Miss Marigold here, popping in to say a big hello!

Welcome to my blooming blog where we’ll dig into all things gardening and plants. Whether you’re into growing veggies, flowers, or just love getting your hands dirty, I’m here to sprinkle some green-thumb advice your way!

I absolutely love gardening—it’s my passion! From planting tiny seeds and seeing them sprout, to learning how to reduce my plastic consumption by reusing objects to make my own pots.

And guess what? This blog isn’t just about me talking about my garden adventures; it’s a fun space for us to learn and grow together!

Curious about what’s buzzing in my garden? Wondering what mischief my Little Sprouts are up to in our Kids' Club at The Garden Depot? Stick around, because I’ll spill all the dirt right here each month! Along with that, I will keep you busy as a bee with some fun gardening activities you can do at home.

Last Summer, these beauties below popped up in my garden. How amazing are the different colours? And shapes of the flowers? Can you believe these flowers grow from teeny tiny seeds and bulbs? I can't wait to teach you more about how different flowers and plants grow.

I would love to hear about your garden adventures too! Do you have a favourite plant? Are you growing any exciting veggies or fantastic flowers you’re proud of? Please send me photos, I would love to see them! Tag me on Instagram @thegardendepot, or email me at info@thegardendepot.com.au

Can’t wait to get our hands dirty and grow some garden magic together!

Two green thumbs up!

PS –

Whilst I start getting some fun facts and gardening activities planned for us all, maybe you can go on a garden scavenger hunt to see what is around your garden this time of the year? I've created a list ready for you to tick off!

Or maybe you already have some plants or seeds growing at your house? Use this Plant Journal to keep a record of how they grow! I'd love to see!
